Natassia da Silva. Died on the 29th of August 2007.
She worked as a tour operator in Johannesburg. She was going to get married on the 23rd of
September. She had two sisters and one step sister and two stepbrothers.
She was crossing the road to meet a group of friends for coffee and whilst she was crossing the road
a car ( man under the influence of drugs and alcohol) killed her. She broke her neck and died
instantly.
She was my eldest and first born, my best friend the person i turned to when i was happy or sad.
She was the most caring child - ALWAYS TRYING TO PLEASE. She was loving,caring and a mother to her
little two step brothers. She loved life! She was free spirited. She was so happy she was getting
married - can you believe it instead of marrying your daughter you bury her in her wedding
dress..... how do you cope with this?
I miss her like crazy - there isnt a minute during the day that i dont think on her and wish i could
hold her so tight and tell her how much i love her!!!
I just cant believe she is GONE!
Part of me died with her ........
How will this pain ever ease .......

as i'm lying here in bed
this tiny little prayer
keeps running through my head,
god bless my family
wherever they may be
keep them warm and safe from harm
for they're so close to me,
and god there is one more thing
I wish that you could do
hope you don't mind me asking
please bless my computer too,
now I know that it's unusual
to bless a motherboard
but listen just a second
while I explain it to you lord,
you see that little metal box
holds more than odds and ends
inside those small compartments
rest so many of my friends,
I know so much about them
by the kindness that they give
and this little scrap of metal
takes me in to where they live,
by faith is how I know them
much the same as you
we share in what life brings us
and from that our friendship grew,

Dearest Natassia
Today it is 173 days that you were taken away from us,
there is not a second that goes by that you not in my thoughts sweetie....
This weekend papa and i tried to be courageous and go to movies..... well we did and I landed up crying the whole movie (silly me bad choice) I went and see P.S. I love you
That brought so many tears to me i just thought at least this girl had a chance to wed her man - you didnt get that chance - you missed it by 21days....... and till today i wonder WHY - did God not give you the chance to be Mrs Caneiro...... but it is no use wondering all the time I will never ever know till the day i am that side of that side of the world with you.
But other than the normal weekend - we all miss you so much - your sisters try go out now and again but they also have a little of them that died when you died... they do things and they keep on saying WISH TAS WAS HERE TO SEE ......
Well sweetie - i am taking one day at a time and i pray to God each day that i make it through the day......
You are solely missed my special daughter....
